The Spruce Bark Beetle has devastated the forests of much of Southcentral Alaska. The Kenai Peninsula has been hit especially hard.
Based in Sterling in the Winter and Anchorage in the Summer, I've safely removed large, long dead hazardous beetle killed spruce trees for years.

Winter in Alaska is the quiet season. It's also a good time for tree maintenance and removal while lawns are frozen, gardens buried, and tourists absent. Spruce tree removal always has some minor impact to landscaping, even when hand carried. Hazard tree removal is even smoother in the winter.

Trees in our area are small enough to work with a single person easily. A one man operation simplifies everything - and saves money. Tree services are big projects and never cheap if done right, but Sunshine Tree keeps costs to a minimum.
